Our Story
As the founder of Sarvaeco, I, Narasimha Shetty, am proud to share the story of our company.
My wife Prema and I hail from the small town of Kundapura in the South Indian state of Karnataka. We always had a passion for entrepreneurship and a desire to make a positive impact in the world.
In 2012, we saw an opportunity to address a pressing environmental problem: the use of single-use plastics. We knew that we wanted to create a sustainable alternative to disposable plastic tableware, and after much research, we settled on areca leaf plates as our product.
We started manufacturing machines to produce these plates in 2012 and were able to grow our business steadily over the years. However, like many businesses, we were hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. We were forced to pause operations and take a step back to reassess our situation.
But despite the challenges we faced, we never lost sight of our passion and our commitment to making a positive impact on the world. And now, as the world begins to emerge from the pandemic, we are excited to announce that we are ready to start our business again.
We believe that now, more than ever, it is important to prioritize sustainability and reduce our reliance on single-use plastics. And we are dedicated to continuing to provide a natural, biodegradable alternative to disposable tableware with our areca leaf plates.
We are grateful for the support and encouragement we have received over the years and are excited to once again be a part of the effort to create a more sustainable future. Thank you for joining us on this journey.
